Greenshoots has a clearly defined set of entry criteria, which must be demonstrated by all potential pre-incubator & incubator clients; These are:

• The technical and commercial feasibility of incubator projects must be satisfactorily demonstrated via submission of a concept document describing the business proposition
• The principal(s) in the new venture must satisfactorily demonstrate their own personal commitment to the successful development of their intended project
• There should be a need for access to facilities offered by Southern Regional College and/or University of Ulster, though exceptions can be made if the commercial potential is evident
• The proposed product or service must intend to exploit the technical knowledge as well as demonstrating innovation and risk in either the technology’s development or application
• The new venture must have the potential to fulfil the growth requirements in a timescale set out in a business proposal/plan
• The principals in the new venture must be willing to comply with the standard terms and conditions of the Greenshoots Licence Agreement.
